We go out so you don’t have to

Do you know all of your local nightlife writers and bloggers? We’re busy people (sometimes too busy to blog, I’m afraid). Anyway – Everyone, Nightlife People. Nightlife People, Everyone.

Me. Hi. Okay, if you’re here, you probably know me or else spelled pomegranate wrong. I write this blog as well as a nightlife column for the Patriot-News.

Alexis Dow – Alexis writes the page opposite of me in the Patriot’s Go! section each Thursday. Alexis previews upcoming events and focuses a lot on our active music scene.

Big Jim – Jimbo has been running HbgOnline and promoting local original music in the area longer than most of today’s local bands have even existed. Look for his whenever-he-gets-around-to-it column, On My Mind.

Summer – My roommate, yo. We met via her column, kind of. She writes The Single Girl for HbgOnline and hits up the local original scene when not living at Club G’s with me.

Dave “No More Dash in Floor9” Sheranko – Dave works lights at Dragonfly and gets more hits on his website than any of us. I think he pays people. Dave covers nightlife here and State College and wherever else he can get when not working two jobs, going to school and photographing his cats.

Mike “We used to work together” Zarcone – Mike started HarrisburgNightlife about a year ago. His site focuses on new openings and events and features an easy-to-browse calendar.

Are you blogging local nightlife? Let me know.
