Barry Bonds

Home again, home again

Well, we made it back to Harrisburg, safely and soundly, as they say.

To recap: I did not win Powerball. I did, however, get an offer in the mail for 40 issues of Entertainment Weekly for only $10 – that’s a pretty good deal (estimated savings of $130), so I think I might take it.

In other news, I was not able to get my dad his promised pepperoni and cheese at the Pennsylvania Macaroni Company because they are not open on Sunday mornings (as an ex-boyfriend of mine used to call Harrisburg “the town that never wakes up,” we felt similarly about Pittsburgh pre-noon today, searching for places to eat).

Fortunately, I can order online, so that’s what will happen. Surprise, Frank! Pepperoni by mail! Whoda thunk?

I probably at this point have little to blog about, save Flounders’ snoring, which I discovered when we returned to the hotel last night, and he went off to slumberville while I typed to you about The Day of Bonds.

Tonight, I returned home, partially unpacked and am readying myself for the work week.
