Sawyer’s Cantina

Share Article

OK – Tom Sawyer Diner closed, but not the outside portion. It briefly donned an Asian-influenced lounge-y feel as the exceptionally short-lived Konnichiwa. However, though they built it; you did not come. After a mere three weeks, the property flipped to a Mexican cantina, complete with mariachi musicians, margaritas of many flavors and spicy fare.

So, everyone got it? There’s a giant inflatable Jose Cuervo bottle on top in case you get confused. It’s Mexican; it’s a pub. Drink margaritas and draft Dos Equis for dos dólares. Get chips and salsa or maybe even a taco. Play pool. Play bartop games. Tip your bartenders, and don’t forget your sombrero.
