This evening – Monday, Aug. 17 – cigar lovers have two choices to get their smoke on, so to speak.
As I mentioned in my Weekend Roundup, Flinchy's is having its second Cigars Under the Stars event at 6 p.m. on Monday, after a successful first event in August. Flinchy's style is more casual and cool, and the event will light up on the Train Wreck Deck.
Cigars will be provided by The Tobacco Company in Lemoyne. Attendees will receive a special cigar pack and additional cigars will be available for sale.
Dinner will feature the entire Hot Rock menu plus specials priced around $20 or less – word has it lamb chops will be one of the features.
Downtown, the Hilton will host a more formal, multi-course dinner and cigar pairing, "Tequila & C.A.O."
The reception cuisine, appetizer, entree and dessert will each be accompanied by a tequila cocktail and a C.A.O. cigar. Dinner has a distinctly Latin theme to accompany the tequila, and the entree features grilled beef and chorizo skewers with Spanish dirty rice.
