From the Central Penn Business Journal:
The owners of Midtown Harrisburg pub Shady McGrady’s recently opened a
second city location.
Shady McGrady’s Downtown opened July 22 at
325 N. Second St. It’s in the former Mercado’s
Pizza Grill, which recently closed after a little more than a year in
operation.
Like the original Shady’s at 204 Verbeke St., the downtown pub will boast 48
beers on tap, including an array of microbrews, said Scott Thomas, who
co-owns both bars with John Barone. The midtown Shady’s offers a limited
menu while the downtown nonsmoking establishment features a
full-kitchen menu, Thomas said.
Shady McGrady’s Downtown is open from noon to 2 a.m. every day. The
full menu is available until midnight Monday through Wednesday and
Sunday. It serves food until 2 a.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and
will stay open until 3 a.m., offering a limited menu for late-night bar
patrons.
