This Sunday, the New York Giants and New England Patriots meet for Super Bowl XLVI.
Through my research over the years, I know this isn’t a guaranteed bar holiday; many people take the opportunity to host parties in their homes, chowing down on guacamole, pizza and other easy party foods with a crowd of their closest friends.
I find this happens less without a local team in the Bowl. Sometimes, it’s easier to just take your party to the nearest watering hole to enjoy the excitement among friends and strangers.
Either way you choose, our local bars and restaurants are ready for you come Sunday. Be sure to plan ahead. Large parties should call for a reservation; take-out orders are best placed in advance — like now.
