Stoudt’s Brewing Company is hosting two beer dinners in the area next week.

On Tuesday, March 27, visit Home 231 for a four-course meal paired with four Stoudt’s beers, hand-selected by Chef Rob Dacko.

Start with Karnival Kolsch-steamed mussels, paired with Karnival Kolsch, of course. Follow that with Berkshire Pork Shank, washed down with Scarlet Lady ESB.

For the third course, indulge in a local cheese tasting while sipping Triple Belgian Abbey-Style Ale. Finally, Home 231’s homemade doughnuts serve as dessert alongside Fat Dog Imperial Oatmeal Stout.

A representative from Stoudt’s will talk to guests throughout dinner about the beers, how they were made, where they come from and why they were chosen for each course.

Dinner is at 6:30 p.m.; space is limited. Dinner is $45/person. Call (717) 232-4663 for reservations.

If you can’t make Tuesday’s dinner, Stoudt’s is hosting another beer dinner at Highlands Grill on Wednesday evening, March 28.

The four-course menu features a mixed green salad paired with the Kolsch, seared Maryland Rockfish with grilled spring onion-tomato salsa on wilted Greensand matched with Stoudt’s Pils.

The main course, grilled Highland Beef Tenderloin with shallot-blue cheese relish, celeriac-potato puree, and sautéed green beans, will be served with the Triple.

Finally, the Oatmeal Stout will complement dessert: Banana cream pie in a graham cracker crust with chocolate caramel sauce.

Reservations are available between 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Dinner is $55/person. Call (717) 508-2699 for reservations.
