Admittedly, I’m more of a wine and beer girl, but I do love a themed cocktail. Here are some to try for Monday’s holiday. Cheers if you got the day off, or drown your work day sorrows after 5 p.m.
George Washington Cocktail
- 1½ oz. dry vermouth
- 1 oz. brandy
- ½ oz. simple syrup
- 2 dashes bitters
Pour ingredients over ice in an old fashion glass with ice. Stir and enjoy.
The White House
- 2 oz. Hudson Corn Whiskey
- 1 oz. dry vermouth
- ½ oz. Solerno Blood Orange Liqueur
- orange twist
Combine first three ingredients over ice and stir. Serve up or on the rocks with an orange twist.
