What’s on Tap – Artie Tafoya

Share Article

With so much talk about craft beer today — especially locally — it seemed imperative we go directly to one of the first names in Harrisburg area microbreweries for our next episode of What’s on Tap.

Artie Tafoya has been operating Appalachian Brewing Co. since 1997 and has grown the brand significantly in the nearly two-decade run, expanding to multiple locations, launching a line of craft sodas and of course — educating imbibers on fresh beer.

We sat down over a Chocolate Avenue Stout at the Abbey Bar to pick Artie’s brain about the state of craft beer and what’s next.

In this episode on What’s on Tap, Sara sat down with Artie Tafoya of Appalachian Brewing Co. in Harrisburg (plus locations in Camp Hill, Lititz, Collegeville, Gettysburg (2) and coming-soon Mechanicsburg) to talk about — what else? — craft beer.
