Hello from snow-covered Elk County. And about eight hours of sleep — woohoo!
We started our weekend with a beer pairing dinner at Bricco with the Pennsylvania Beer Alliance (check out photos here) on Friday.
Then Saturday I joined Bruce on the radio once again before hitting the road to Elk County. We even spied some elk (about 35-50) right by the Medix Hotel.
For dinner, we headed to a relatively new spot called Casali’s Italian Grille, which had a fairly impressive craft beer menu. I got an Ellicottville Brewing Co. Hot Chocolate Stout — brewed with ghost chili peppers, and we even grabbed a mixed six pack to go.
Today, we’re visiting more family, checking out a distillery in the PA Wilds, and we better watch that Steelers game.
