NOW ONLINE: Brewed in the Burg

Share Article

It was early January, and the What’s on Tap crew (GK Visual partners Nate Kresge and Doug Metz, plus yours truly) was having one of its not-that-often sit-down meetings to talk about what’s what.

Somehow, that meeting went from “who should we talk to next?” to “Hey let’s make a movie about beer!”

Just four short months later — 24 interviews (up from our original plan of 8), multiple brewery visits and countless hours of footage and editing — we released Brewed in the Burg as a feature-length film during Harrisburg Beer Week.

We hosted multiple, free screenings of the film that week, thanks to the generosity of Midtown Cinema, including a premiere party at Zeroday Brewing Company.

We’ve since had countless requests for access to the film, and we’re proud to share that Brewed in the Burg is now available to view for free online.

The catch: There isn’t one, really, but we are utilizing Vimeo’s “Tip Jar” feature to ask you to help support this movie so we can share it with an even wider audience, including public screenings this fall and possible television placement.

What you can do: Watch the movie! Share it with friends! Throw it a little coin!

SHAREBrewed in the Burg now has its own Facebook page. Please like and share this page to catch behind-the-scenes footages, outtakes, photographs, plus event details on public screenings and any other updates.
