Lancaster Shopping: The Queen Street “Crew”

Share Article

I already explored Queen Street in Lancaster a few posts ago, but I’m back to share even more must-visit shopping spots down the block from Nicole Taylor and Sophie Stargazer.

So grab a coffee from Passenger – they’re only a few steps away from the boutiques below – and get ready to shop!

Details

Details is one of my favorite shops in Lancaster. It’s full of classy “trinkets”- and there are very few things I love more than trinkets – making it my go-to spot for gifts and cards.

The shop mainly carries upscale home goods and decor like Michael Aram picture frames and Simon Pearce glassware (SO BEAUTIFUL!), but they also carry other small gifts, jewelry, journals, and fragrances as well.

One of my favorite things about Details is their collection of Nest Candles. I’m obsessed with their cedar leaf and lavender candle — I visit the shop about once a month for a new one because I burn through them so quickly!

I also love their Lilly Pulitzer and Kate Spade accessories, which pair perfectly with their designer greeting cards for a quick gift. You can almost always pick up a “Lancaster” piece at the register — a magnet, a greeting card, etc — and I love sending some love from the 717 to my out-of-town friends.

Details also designs custom stationery in-house. How cool is that?

Visit at 30 N Queen St #1, Lancaster, PA 17603 and follow on Facebook and Instagram.

Pappagallo

Pappagallo technically is on Orange Street, but it shares the same owner as Details, so I’m grouping it in with the rest of the Queen Street crew.

What gifts are to Details, cool clothes are to Pappagallo.

The boutique carries designer women’s clothing, including 7 for All Mankind, Cupcakes & Cashmere, Citizens of Humanity, Gorjana and Joe’s Jeans. It’s very chic and the perfect place to find an outfit for a nice night out or a special event. It is wedding season, after all!

Visit at 28 W. Orange Street and check them out on Facebook and Instagram.

BellaBoo

As one of Lancaster’s premier children’s boutiques, BellaBoo is just too cute. The store carries all things kids, focusing on high-quality baby gear, clothing, accessories, toys, and furniture.

I’m warning you, you’ll want to buy everything for the little ones in your life because the stuff is just so adorable!

Check out their Instagram and Facebook for your daily dose of cute. Visit at 32 N. Queen Street.

Coleson Fine Clothiers

The best way I can describe Coleson Fine Clothier is “class.”

It’s all about sharp suits, classic dresses, preppy patterns and upscale outfits. It’s Kentucky Derby meets Lancaster — a match made in fashion heaven. Coleson carries both clothing and accessories for both men (Hickey Freeman, Canali and Donald J. Pilner) and women (AG Jeans, Bishop + Young, Nicole Miller). The shop also carries its own brand of custom suits, Coleson Bespoke.

Visit at 36 N. Queen Street and find them on Facebook and Instagram.

Lancaster Central Market (I could not not mention it)

After all that shopping, you’ll need some coffee and a snack … or two.

Lucky for you, Details, BellaBoo and Coleson actually border Lancaster Central Market. A Lancaster staple, Central Market is the oldest continuously operated public farmer’s market in the country. From flowers and produce to steaks and desserts, it has everything you need, all fresh and ready to go. You’ll find some traditional Amish flair, too!

It’s only open Tuesday, Friday and Saturday, so plan accordingly.

These are only a handful of the great shopping options in Lancaster, but they’re a great snapshot of the fashion the city has to offer.

Happy shopping!
