Going For 2: Episode 40 is LIVE!
Although the Super Bowl is the main focus of this episode, we don’t let it dominate the whole thing.
Last week, the Baseball Hall of Fame Class of 2019 was announced, and it was historic. Mariano Rivera was the first-ever player to be voted in unanimously, Roy Halladay will go in without a logo on his hat, and Edgar Martinez finally got the call. We talk about the significance of the unanimous decision and how we think the MLB should handle the steroid era.
We’re continuing our trek through the top performers in fantasy football in 2018 with a look back at the top-10 running backs. There were a few surprises once the dust settled at the end of the season, including the top-scoring back in our league.
It’s time for the Alliance of American Football to kickoff! Well, almost. Next Sunday, a new football league takes the field, and we could not be more excited. Jimi picks his team for the season, and we give you a refresher on some of the new rules.
The last good bit of our time is dominated by Super Bowl talk. We highlight our keys to the game for each team, make our picks, and go through a few fun prop-bets to keep an eye out for during the game. Who do we think ends up as Super Bowl MVP? Does James Develin score a TD? There’s only one way to find out.
Finally, we cap off the show in usual fashion with our one awesome thing. Jimi lets his flag fly for one announcer in particular, while Andy tried to figure out a question everyone in the wrestling world has been asking as of late.
Enjoy!
