We’re back at it with the boutique reviews because summer is here, which means it’s weddings-bridal showers-galas-special event season. And lucky for us, The Plum is here to help! The Plum in Harrisburg (and technically Camp Hill, too) offers high-end women’s fashion ready to help you look your best for any event or excursion.

Both locations are stocked with fashion-forward finds from classic brands like Nicole Miller, Diane von Fürstenberg and Joseph Ribkoff, whose pieces will elevate any wardrobe. I spied a beautiful DVF jumpsuit that would be perfect for either a day in the office OR a night out, and we all know versatility is critical when investing in a new outfit!
Now, if you are looking for a that perfect dress for a special occasion, The Plum has a great selection of cocktail, party and formal occasion dresses to fit any personality or style. Little black dresses, elegant floor-length gowns, sassy sequins…whatever event you’re going to, they’re sure to have what you’re looking for. Definitely check them out before you hit the mall.

On the more casual side, I also loved Lafayette 148. It’s is full of light and breezy pieces that would be perfect for evenings at the beach or nights out on the deck. Linen is definitely your friend when it’s hot and sticky out and Lafayette knows how to do it right.
The Plum also carries shoes, jewelry and other accessories. I love their selection of Sorrelli jewelry and seriously struggled in talking myself out of buying a new cuff bracelet to wear with my watch. Their earrings or bracelets would make a cute addition to that bridal shower gift you’re getting together.

With two locations, you’re bound to find the perfect piece for you. They don’t exactly share inventory per se (one store may have certain sizes, the other carries the remaining sizes or colors, etc.) so if one location doesn’t have what you’re looking for, they can call the other shop and get it ready for you. It’s the perfect set up!
Check out The Plum at 213 Locust Street in Harrisburg or 3801 Old Gettysburg Road in Camp Hill. And if you’re in the mood to shop till you drop, The Plum in Camp Hill is only a few minutes away from the new Neighbors and Smith center so you can visit One Good Woman and Little Black Dress, too!
