Celebrate Okto’Bear’Fest all month at Shy Bear Brewing!
Shy Bear’s month-long celebration of German beer starts with their Okto’Bear’Fest Kickoff Weekend Sept. 20-22.
Festivities include traditional German fare, live music, and the first chance to grab their special tankard mugs and German beers.
Starting Sept. 20, you can purchase a 20 oz. stein for $10 and get $5 refills on six Shy Bear beers throughout Okto’Bear’Fest, which runs through Oct. 20.
Included in those six beers are three German-style lagers –Pilsner, Okto’Bear’Fest Marzen Lager, and Shwarzbier Dark Lager– meant to represent the colors of the German flag.
The Bavarian Stompers, a traditional European oompah band fittingly gets the live music going for the weekend at 7 p.m. on Friday.

- 7-10 p.m. – Ryan Carter Trio
Sunday
- 4-7 p.m. – Indian Summer Jars
