With the holiday season just around the corner (HOW?!), it’s time to put your best face forward, and Lititz-based Maven Beauty is here to help!
Maven is a one-of-a-kind custom blend beauty bar focused on handcrafting lip colors and lipstick unique to each customer’s style, taste, and personality.
Customers work with Maven’s color artists to personalize the texture, finish, palette, flavor, and name of their lip color. Or, you can simply match a certain swatch or shade to something you already have, love, or just want to mimic.
Maven is committed to providing personalized and “safe” cosmetics without compromise, and each product is natural-based and sulfate-, paraben-, petroleum-, gluten-, cruelty-, talc- and lead-free.
Sisters Courtney Barabas-Esperance and Alyson Pignone founded and run Maven Beauty, and both have extensive experience in fashion, beauty, and retail.
This experience combined with their personal backgrounds (their mother has a scent sensitivity and both sisters suffer from allergies and food sensitivities) led the duo to look for customizable beauty products that are also mindful of allergens and sensitivities.
Courtney worked with the first custom blend beauty experience retail store, and the sisters partnered with the supplier to create their own line of lip cosmetics and have completed extensive color training to provide lip products that are “made to wear, mixed for you.”
Maven Beauty is open every second Friday in Lititz and by appointment, in the Otto 79 House in Downtown Lititz.
They’re also mobile and can bring their custom creations to you! Check out their home parties, girls’ night out events, birthday parties, bachelorette parties and or “Maven Maiden” birthday packages, where little girls can create their own lip gloss.
To help with your holiday shopping, Maven also has several great gift options for the makeup lovers on your list. Gift certificates can be purchased at any Pop Up event, on Maven’s website, or through direct message. Gift a Custom Lip Appointment so your friends and family can create their own perfect lip color or pick up one of Maven’s ready-made lip colors available in a variety of shades to compliment all skin tones.
