Yuengling’s newest beer is a trifecta of low-ABV, low-cal, and low-carb with a touch of summer vibes.
Yuengling FLIGHT is a light lager that is only 95 calories, 2.6g carbs, and clocks in at a Sara Bozich team-approved 4.2% ABV.
Over the last year, we’ve seen the emergence of beverages crafted for those looking for a healthier libation.
Low-carb drinks, zero-sugar seltzers, and low-cal IPAs were all the rage last summer and have shown no sign of going away anytime soon.
Brewed as another option for health-conscious beer drinkers, FLIGHT isn’t just for those looking to cut calories and carbs.
FLIGHT also joins the Yuengling family as the third new beer released in the last two years with Golden Pilsner and HERSHEY’S Chocolate Porter.
Our thoughts
As if the almost guilt-free amount of calories and carbs didn’t have you hooked, the flavor will seal the deal.
It’s crisp, clean, and extremely refreshing that has summer days, mowing, and post-workout beer written all over it.
While a lot of these low-cal options can leave you wanting, FLIGHT is a pleasurable drinking experience.
You get that bready malt character found in light lagers with little to no sweetness. Hop presence often is non-existent in lighter offerings but FLIGHT finishes with a bit of earthy hop flavor and just a tinge of pleasant bitterness.
FLIGHT is currently available wherever you find your go-to Lager.
