It’s time to start getting back out into the world now that the statewide stay-at-home order has been lifted and counties are moving into the Green Zone.
Of course, navigating this can be a little daunting. Each business seems to have its own set of directives, varying levels of communication about its parameters, etc.
Personally, I prefer to err on the safe side of things yet — mask on in public places, when picking up coffee, food — still doing curbside or delivery where it’s available.
Fortunately, Members 1st Federal Credit Union is making this a bit easier for me — and all its members — too.
I recently joined Members 1st (which was super easy, and you can read more about that here) for easy digital banking. This year, they’re working on a brand evolution and digital transformation to make banking with them even better.
Just last week they announced a brand new, contactless Visa® debit card.
This new debit card provides more safety, security, and convenience with every purchase!
If you’re already a Members 1st member and have a Visa debit card, you’ll receive your new card soon. Once it arrives, simply follow the provided instructions to activate and set a new PIN.
You also can setup card controls to manage how, when, and where the card is used — adding an extra layer of security.
Plus, for even easier transactions, you can add your Members 1st Visa debit card to your mobile wallet so you can make touch-less payments anywhere Apple Pay or similar is offered!
I was able to do an easy grab-and-go at one of my favorite local coffee shops without having to worry. All I did was wave the card near the reader, confirm the amount, and sign!
And now that it’s part of my mobile wallet, I also can use it anywhere I would use Apple Pay for completely touch-less ordering!
