Best Local Shops

Plum Bottom

For quality, fashionable footwear, the answer is Plum Bottom in Harrisburg.

Plum Bottom offers a variety of styles and brands from boots to sneakers, as well as accessories and leather jackets.

This Mauritius Leather Jacket (pictured above) is a favorite — soft leather with a removal hoodie means it does double-duty.

Everyone deserves a pair of good, fun slippers, and we love these colorful options from Steve Madden (swipe above to view!). These are a perfect gift for nearly anyone on your list.

Shop Plum Bottom online here or visit at 2619 Brindle Dr., Harrisburg.

Save! Use the code “SARA” to save $10 off your online order. Limit one per customer. Available in-store, too.

Meeka Fine Jewelry

For unique, high-quality jewelry, Meeka Fine Jewelry in downtown Camp Hill is the place to go.

Meeka Fine Jewelry offers collections from hand-selected artisan jewelers who create exquisite necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and more using a variety of metals and gemstones.

Build a Wish List at Meeka and let your jewelry dreams come true. You can shop in-person (call to book) or online. Jewelry ships securely via FedEx or local pick-up can be arranged.

Tröegs Independent Brewing

While you’re stocking up on beer and snacks for home, don’t forget you can also grab great gifts from Tröegs’ General Store — curbside!

Tröegs has a great selection of glass and barware for the at-home beertender, quality outerwear (that you don’t see everywhere else), plus Tröegs-branded accessories for pup parents! Any beer lover on your list will flip for Mad Elf socks and matching soap, and one of these recycled “Slippy” can holders should go in every stocking.

I’m loving the new Tröegs swag, including the all-new Art of Tröegs Collection (swipe through the gallery above to check it out).

Ordering Curbside is super easy, safe, and convenient. Just visit shop.troegs.com, place your order, and choose a pick-up time! Read more about it here.

Shop online here and pick-up at 200 East Hersheypark Drive, Hershey.

Stash Vintage x The Midtown Dandy

How much do I love these shops? Let me count the ways.

Shopping vintage is cool. It’s also sustainable, anti-fast fashion, which is cool. And, you can do it and shop local.

I’d need a couple of blog posts to detail all of the items I’ve scored from Stash and Dandy, but the point is that both shop owners have a keen eye for what’s cool and how to style it. It’s always worth a visit any time you’re looking to add something cool to your wardrobe.

Stash Vintage x The Midtown Dandy also sell accessories, like earrings and ties, random housewares, and locally made candles and art.

Stop in for random in-store holiday sales throughout the season and to make good on this crazy gift card sale: $50 GC for $45 (code 5off50) // $75 GC for $65 (code 10off75) // $100 GC for $85 (code 15off100).

You can also catch (and buy!) new or featured items on Stash’s or Midtown Dandy’s IG accounts.

Nicole Taylor Boutique

Lancaster’s Nicole Taylor Boutique is a gem, and a great place to shop for holiday wear, accessories, and gifts.

Shop fuzzy slippers for your sister (maybe add-on some bath bombs) or a beautiful necklace for your BFF. Nicole Taylor Boutique is chock full of fun options, from tees and loungewear to jewelry and outerwear. I am a big fan of the Empower HER line of tees.

Shop Nicole Taylor Boutique online here or visit at 325 N. Queen St., Suite b01, Lancaster. Follow NTB on Instagram and Facebook.

Bonus! Use promo code SaraB10 to save 10% on online orders – and get a free gift!

Chipmunk Lane

Chipmunk Lane is a local, mom-owned business featuring eco-conscious, gender-neutral apparel for kids and babies.

The classic Nursery Rhyme Collection is designed and screen-printed locally by owner Becky. Every piece is produced sustainably and ethically in the USA using low-impact dyes that aren’t harmful to the environment.

Designs pay homage to grown-ups’ favorite childhood rhymes, and these super-soft tri-blend shirts are made from fabric derived from recycled water bottles. It’s feel-good clothing to feel good about.

Chipmunk Lane also recently added a new Zodiac collection, which is a cute way to show off your child’s astrological sign.

SB x EleePots Snack Bowl

Elevate your snack sessions with this gorgeous SB x EleePots Snack Bowl.

All of EleePots’ pieces are amazing (I have two hanging planters and regularly gift her items to family), so I was thrilled to collaborate for this item, a beautiful snack bowl that happens to fit just the right about of popcorn.
