Harrisburg’s beloved independent bookstore, the Midtown Scholar, has reopened!
Along with perusing countless bookshelves, locals can also enjoy The Scholar’s full café services with espresso drinks, tea, and baked goods at the ready.
Starting July 1, current hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday-Sunday with hopes to continue to expand hours.
Please note, seating is not yet available at Midtown Scholar, though it is expected to return later this summer, and guests are recommended to wear masks at all times when in the store.
Through its closing, The Midtown Scholar remained a staple in the literary community. Over the last year, they hosted 100 outdoor sales and 142 live-stream events, which they plan to continue.
