Together We Celebrate Theatre’s Return

Lancaster is ready to rejoice in the return of the arts with The Fulton’s Together We Celebrate.

The song and dance extravaganza honors Lancaster’s resilience, diversity, and collective strength with an energizing burst of hits from beloved Broadway shows like Cats, Chicago, The Color Purple, Dear Evan Hansen, The Drowsy Chaperone, Funny Girl, In the Heights, and Kinky Boots.

Featuring a small cast of Fulton favorites, the show is an intimate, yet stirring and triumphant celebration that leaves you inspired. The curtain closed for a year; however, the joy of live theater is back the moment the band hits the first note of the show.

Together We Celebrate runs until Aug. 8.

Stories of Diversity Festival

The Fulton continues to celebrate and honor the diversity of the arts community with its inaugural in-person playwriting festival.

Stories of Diversity (July 16-18) presents three distinct and diverse plays spotlighting voices from Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), LGBTQ+, and religious and economic diversity that aim to engage Lancaster in much-needed conversation. The festival features FOR COLORED BOYZ on the verge of a nervous breakdown/ when freedom ain’t enuffL’Hôtel, and Lev of Leningrad

A team of more than 30, including The Fulton’s newly formed Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Accessibility (IDEA) Committee, read the submitted plays in three qualifying rounds, and the audience and a panel of judges will select the winning piece. The winner will be announced soon after the festival’s close and will be professionally produced by the Fulton as part of a future Groff Studio Series production in the Tell Studio Theatre. The winner will also receive a cash prize.

Free festival tickets are available to the community but require a reservation. Call 717-397-7425 to reserve.
