Try these two [easy] cocktails using HOLLA Spirits Pawpaw Vodka.
You know I’m a big fan of HOLLA Spirits vodkas. They’re clean tasting, come in a variety of interesting flavors, and are accessible and affordable! Plus, HOLLA Spirits is a community-minded company, which makes them even easier to love.
August is Pennsylvania produce month, so it seems a good time to finally dig into HOLLA’s Pawpaw flavored vodka.
Whoa, wait a minute — what’s a pawpaw?
Pawpaw is a fruit native to Pennsylvania — and beyond, particularly the eastern part of the United States and Canada. The largest North American tree fruit, it’s got a tropical vibe, with a green-ish exterior and custardy insides that taste like a mango-banana-light vanilla blend. Or, as Patrick Shorb of HOLLA Spirits describes, the white DumDum lollipop flavor.
Chefs love to cook with them, bakers like to weave them into sweet treats, and you can usually even find some Pawpaw-enhanced craft beers if you know where to look.
HOLLA Spirits took this Pennsylvania fruit and created a vodka around it.
Some quick ways to mix this would be to add a splash to your favorite fruity seltzer (I’m thinking guava or passionfruit!), lemonade, or soda water.
