About Elegant Progressions
Historic Harrisburg Association’s annual Elegant Progressions is regarded as one of the premier social events of central PA and the unofficial kick-off to the holiday season.
Proceeds from the event provide significant operating support for the Historic Harrisburg Association and the Kidney Foundation of Central Pennsylvania, two important community charitable organizations.
The progressive dinner concept allows attendees to progress to multiple venues for their appetizer, dinner, and dessert courses throughout the evening.
This year’s venues include a hilltop neo-Georgian-style house on the highest spot in South Hanover Township, where it commands expansive views of the surrounding countryside of the former H.B. Reese Farm; the 7,000-square-foot “Falcon Ridge” compound in Lower Paxton Township; and a massive three-story limestone-constructed mansion on East Main Street in the heart of Hummelstown that features twin circular towers with distinctive conical roofs.
