4 Spooktacular Fall Cocktails | Fine Wine & Good Spirits

Whether planning a spooky girls’ get-together or brewing up adult-only trick-or-treat night plans, these four spooktacular cocktails from Fine Wine & Good Spirits are the perfect fit.

Spiced Apple Brandy (Serves 2)

  • ½ c Laird’s Applejack Brandy
  • 1 c apple cider
  • ½ c ginger ale
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • Apple slices, for garnish
  • Cinnamon sticks, for garnish
  • Star anise, for garnish
  • Sanding sugar, for garnish

Rim rocks glasses with sanding sugar and fill with ice; set aside. Combine all ingredients, except for garnishes, in a mixing glass filled with ice; stir.

Strain into prepared glasses. Garnish with apple slices, cinnamon sticks and star anise.

Smoky Ghoul Thyme (Serves 2)

Combine first six ingredients in a shaker. Shake vigorously, then add ice and shake again. Strain into cocktail glass filled with fresh ice.

Top with ginger beer. Garnish with thyme sprig.

Rotten Pumpkin

Pour orange juice in a cocktail glass filled with ice.  Top with sambuca. Garnish with orange wedge.

Transylvania Twist

Combine first two ingredients in a flute glass. Pour black vodka over the back of barspoon to top. Garnish with licorice twist.

*Black vodka: Combine 10 drops blue food coloring, 10 drops red food coloring and 8 drops green food coloring into a 750 mL bottle of vodka. Close bottle, shake well and chill overnight.
