There’s just something about Opening Day on City Island.
Maybe it’s the first crack of the bat after a long winter, maybe it’s the river views, or maybe it’s just the excuse to grab a hot dog and a cold beer on a weeknight.
Either way, baseball season is back, and the Harrisburg Senators are kicking off their 39th season at FNB Field in just a few weeks.

Mark your calendar: Harrisburg Senators Opening Day is Tuesday, April 7, with First Pitch at 6:30 p.m.
From there, the schedule settles into an easy rhythm:
- Weeknights: 6:30 p.m.
- Fridays: 7 p.m.
- Saturdays: 6 p.m.
- Sundays: 1 p.m.
