Harvest Hop Returns to Downtown Camp Hill Oct. 17

Share Article

Fall is a pretty good excuse to spend a Saturday wandering your local neighborhoods. Add live music, local shopping, something warm to eat, and a stop for cider or beer, and you’ve got Downtown Camp Hill’s Harvest Hop.

Downtown Camp Hill Association’s annual fall festival returns from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 17, rain or shine. The celebration stretches across the Market Street business district, with participating businesses offering their own specials and activities throughout the day.

What to Expect

Explore Harvest Hop at your own pace. Start with the kids activities (while supplies last), pop-up farmers market, browse the shops, and see where the music – and beer – takes you.

This year’s plans include:

  • Shopping and dining specials throughout downtown Camp Hill
  • Live music at multiple locations, including Rhyne McCormick
  • Beer, wine, and cider gardens
  • S’mores stations and seasonal treats
  • Free pumpkin decorating for kids
  • Family-friendly activities throughout the day

Make a Day of It

Bring the kids for pumpkin decorating, meet a friend for a drink, or make a few stops at businesses you’ve been meaning to visit. You don’t need a strict itinerary here; part of the fun is seeing what’s happening as you walk down Market Street.

That’s what I like about Downtown Camp Hill’s events. The businesses are the reason to come, and Harvest Hop gives you a chance to spend some time with them all in one afternoon. I never go home empty-handed.
