sip @ soma will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. — don’t miss our themed ice sculpture outside!
Inside, enjoy wines from Castlerigg Wine Shop featuring Seven Mountains Wine Cellar.
Castlerigg will feature a spiced red wine called Fireside Cheers, which can be ordered heated for the mulled wine lovers. They also will feature Fire & Ice, an ice wine with a cayenne pepper in the bottle. Plus, try other dry and sweet wines! Wines will be available by the glass to consume at sip @ soma; bottles also can be purchased to-go!
Plus, enjoy food options from Chef Radanovic of Cork & Fork. The menu includes two pasta options with two sauces, eggplant rollatini, and meatballs.
From 5-8 p.m. enjoy chill vibes with deep house mixes from DJ Kynz!
About the Ice & Fire Festival
The City of Harrisburg presents the M&T Bank Ice & Fire Festival from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2023.
This free event features 50+ large and small ice sculptures, an ice slide, fire dancers, live ice carving, fire pits and smores, an artist market, performances by local school and community groups, kids activities, food trucks, vendors, a cocktail/coffee/cocoa crawl, and more.
Ice sculptures will be along the Downtown street festival path on N. Second St. as well as City Island, Midtown, Italian Lake, Shipoke, SoMa, and Reservoir Park. The sculptures will be illuminated from 7-9 p.m.
The 1st annual chili cook-off sponsored by Capital Blue Cross will launch the festival activities on Friday, March 3 from 5:30-8 p.m. at the Broad Street Market. All chili entries will be submitted by Market vendors and other City of Harrisburg restaurants. Proceeds from the cook-off will benefit the Broad Street Market.
