All things (weather) considered, if you refuse to miss out on Halloween festivities, there are a few adult-only parties happening tonight.

Last year’s overall winner – Home 231 Pumpkin Carving Contest

Home 231 is hosting a Prohibition-themed party (WITH booze) – Find your best 20s/Flapper costume, and take part in their 3-course dinner, which also provides entry into their pumpkin carving contest (the pumpkin and carving kit are included). The whole shebang is $45 but seats are limited. Call 232-4663 for reservations.

Midtown Cinema is hosting a costume party and double feature. See Dracula starring Bela Lugosi and George Romero’s Night of the Living Dead. Doors open at 6 p.m.; Costume and trivia winners announced at 8 p.m.; films begin at 8:15 p.m. RSVP on Facebook.

The newly opened Char’s Restaurant at the Tracy Mansion is celebrating the spooky season tonight as well. Stop in after work for live music from 6-9 p.m. Grab a specialty cocktail (which truly sounds outstanding): Honeycrisp Apple Vodka Infusion with floating lychee “eyeballs.”
